The Opportunity
We're seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing team and help shape the future of healthcare technology. In this role, you'll design and deliver enterprise business intelligence reports, dashboards, and solutions that provide actionable insights to improve operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Location: Hybrid - Pittsburgh, PA (Core office days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Reports to: Director, Software Engineering
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Connect Tableau to various data sources for real-time or batch data integration.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to create visualizations that effectively communicate trends and metrics.
- Perform and document data analysis, validation, and mapping/design to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and prioritize functional requirements.
- Conduct detailed data exploration and validation from multiple sources.
- Optimize user experience and ensure data quality through testing and validation of Tableau dashboards.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong background in BI development using Tableau.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist.
- Proficient in SQL and data querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and deliver comprehensible results.
Preferred:
- Experience using Snowflake for data storage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience with data warehousing and modeling.
